Intervention Required!
People are still quite more interested in their laser hair removal than the world affairs that threaten our own public security. However, what seems to be worse is that rulers that we have trusted are also ignoring important developments that must have already been responded to.
Afghanistan was ruled by Taliban forces - this is why NATO and USA sent armies to prevent the spread of terrorism. Iraq, allegedly possessing nuclear power, was invaded and crushed along with its dictator. North Korea was influenced, threatened and shown that it should not mess along with the world peace. International conflicts have been solved within minutes.
But what is happening with Libya? A psychopath has been ruling this country for decades, a person who sleeps in a tent because he is too afraid to live in a building. And still he continues to rule over a state where oil and location can make the life of everyone in the realm easier, nicer, more democratic. So at the background of a militarized Gaddafi and dying rebels who seek freedom from this oppressive rule, we can only observe international ignorance.
The UK is being silent, it has condemned the acts of the Libyan colonel, France took this a step further but again with a doze of ignorance, the whole of the EU is hiding in its holes. The US is speaking and speaking and speaking - more than it spoke about Iraq because it actually went there. Why not Libya? It has oil again, it has Arabs again, it has plenty of land and a lot of neighbours.
No-one seems to be intervening in a serious conflict like this and people continue to die.
